The Carry-On Trailer Grease Seal is a double lip seal for use on 2,000 lb. rated axles. The inner diameter of the seal is 1.5 in. and the outer diameter is 1.987 in. Use this grease seal for sealing bearings onto the trailer axle. Each pack includes two seals.

    I just serviced the bearings on my 5x8 Carry On trailer, and the original seals were a single lip design. The drivers side had clearly been leaking, so I'm happy to see the 2nd lip!

    Seal is advertised as being 1-1/2 ID when in fact

    I bought this a few days ago to use on my trailer hub but the actual ID on the seal was 1-1/4 not 1-1/2. Ruined the seal trying to put it on a spindle that was 1-1/2.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
