Great soil moisture retainer

Watering less often, especially in a his AZ summer, is always a better option. With this products, I’m able to do that. It helps to retain moisture so I’m watering less often and able to get in with other “to-do” items. Great product!

These are bad for animals.

I just reads that cedar chips are bad for chickens. I have them in my coop and 2 more bags of this stuff.
Why Cedar Chips Are a Bad Choice for Chickens

In a dry environment, it can worsen respiratory problems for both chickens and humans.
❌ Toxic to Some Animals:
Cedar can be toxic to small animals and birds due to its oils and dust.
It’s especially bad for confined coops with limited ventilation.
