Q: which ground rod is better, the 6' copper plated or the 8' galvanized?
a year ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. The better ground rod between a 6 ft. copper-coated and an 8 ft. galvanized one depends on various factors like your grounding application, soil conditions, and code requirements. We would recommend reaching out to American Farm Works directly for more information. ***American Farm Works*** https://www.zarebasystems.com/contact-us? 1-855-592-7322 | 8:30 am - 7:00 pm EST (M-F)a year agoHelpful?

Q: Can you use electric fencing on a fence if the fence wire is touching the ground?
2 years ago- A: No. If the fence voltage was going to ground, that would be a short circuit. The fence voltage travels from the wire to a grounded animal (including humans) who touches it to deliver a shock.2 years agoHelpful?

5 years ago- A: I used 3 grounding rods oriented in a triangle (the rods go in the ground at the triangle points) spaced 4 feet apart. My bee yard bear deterrent fence is .8 Joule rated for 25 miles. It's been in service for 2 years and will zap the tar out of you.5 years agoHelpful?
