I love this safe. Obviously, it isnt a top tier $2k safe, buts its great for what i need. TSC was Very helpful to load it. It wil not hold 36 long guns unless you purchase storage accessories, which is totally fine. The door does rattle, but a small cabinet spacer solves it. Overall, for $500, this is unbeatable. Tons of room and the door storage is excellent!

Nope. Never another Winchester safe.

I bought this model about 7 years ago, and have had a great experience with it. So, we bought another, thinking that it would be of the same quality as our older one, but the new safe is over 100 lbs lighter, cheaply constructed, and manufactured in China, instead of Ft. Worth, like the old one. I will not be purchasing another Winchester safe.

The safe is great, just what I expected. The customer service was excellent. BUT both safes in stock had damage right through the box. I had to drive to another store to get the safe I wanted.

Junk keypad!

Nice safe I bought in in November 2025, however the key pad is junk it stopped working, thought it was the battery and replaced it only.to find the keypad stopped working and have left messages with Winchester and no one seems to want to return my call, so at this point I would advise anyone to stay away from Winchester!, update Winchester finally got back to me and resolved the problem, you can only use a Duracell alkaline ot ever ready max alkaline battery in the safe, the fix was easy and I advised Winchester that was not in the owners manual but they did have it on the recorded line when I called.

Faulty Electronic Lock

The electronic lock routinely fails and must have the battery removed to reset. I have had the keypad fully replaced once (which was at my own expense, Winchester provided the lock but refused to pay for the locksmithing service) and it still has the same faults. Do not trust this safe.
