Wow! Excellent quality. Very happy. These were better than expected. Im going to Europe and wanted some binoculars that could reach further distance than regular travel binoculars and these are so smooth, clear, precise, and they actually go further distance than anticipated for an eight 45. I was looking at Swarovski but they were so expensive, I guess it’s the name because these were just as great!! Plus there’s a sweet stash of accessories. I wasn’t thrilled about the made in china but it is what it is.

So after a lot of research my search for binoculars came down to this pair and the McKenzie bx-1 by leupold . This was originally a gift for my wife and I decided to by both so she would have a better chance at get a pair that fit her face and felt good in the hand ! I thought she would like the leupolds better , but it turned out that vortex folded in more , so a person with eyes closer together can see more clearly! She also didn’t notice a difference in the clearity between the 2 and actually like the vortex better . This was a surprise win and over gives a great value for quality glass!

I bought these binoculars 3 or 4 years ago for whitetail and turkey hunting in Virginia. After 3 or 4 seasons of whitetail, turkey, bear and taking them out west for Mule deer, antelope and ducks I have been extremely happy with them. Just last year I noticed that my eye pieces were coming loose and the screws appeared to be either breaking off or falling out. They had been through a lot so I wasn’t surprised. I spoke to Vortex customer service last week, submitted a warranty claim and received a brand new pair in the mail today. Vortex gained a life-long customer after this experience, couldn’t be happier.
