Okay I am not very experienced in night vision goggles Etc I understand the difference in the parameters infrared field of vision etc etc what I don't like about this particular product is a I want something that covers my eyes so there's no outside interference this is like looking at a very small television camera and it's very bright even if you decrease the brightness all the way down it's still almost blinding to look at that image and then Look Away into the darkness you can see nothing it's too much on the eyes unfortunately I think I'm going to have to spring for heat sensing along with infrared this is a black and white picture not what I was looking for I'm looking for something more along the lines of military Optics where you don't just see one small area you basically see everything around you or at least within a 20 to 30 ft plane 15 ft either way so I guess 15 ft radius other than that it functions well but it's not what I was looking for the only thing I really like about it is it's rechargeable so you don't have to put batteries in it

Bought for my dad. He enjoys it. I was impressed with it overall
