Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has options that others don't have Bought online from TSC because it would be here in 5-7 days took almost three weeks. So not as good as they say. Stove works great not the best instruction book had to go online to hook up thermostat. Came without the burnpot poker. Don't know how hard it will be to get them to send one! The four star rating can be shared by the Mfg. and TSC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good stove used all winter only one small problem. I bought this stove at menards the only problem I have had was the set screw on the agiator comes lose 3 different times and had to tighten it back up. I plain to drill a small indentation in the shaft. the bottom shaft has a flat on it so no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minor Issue This unit works good, heats my basement well and keeps the temperature above 70'F. Installation was fairly easy as the insert slide right into the masonry fireplace. The only issue I had was a screw on the heat deflector came loose during shipping and the screw and spacers were floating around in the box. Overall I am satisfied with this pellet stove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pellet stove I bought this stove on Christmas Day. It has only been installed for about a month but it has been great. It produces a lot of heat. I have a 2300sq ft house it it keeps the entire house above 65 degrees. The main floor it is on the temp is between 68 and 75 degrees depending on the four rooms that are down stairs. Th stove can burn a lot of pellets on cold nights and days. The highest setting can burn well over two 40# bags of pellets every day. But over all it is saving me over $400 a month in propane. I've only used 60 gallons of propane this month instead of 300. That is awesome.

How quiet is this stove? We had a pellet stove in our last home, loved it, but' the blowers were pretty loud.  Also will this unit fit into box built for a gas fireplace?

Asked by: RockyMtnHigh
The blowers are pretty quiet so that shouldn't be an issue. As far as going into a place meant for gas fireplace, you must be able to have at least 3ft of vertical piping and no more that 4ft of horizontal piping on this unit. Since it is an insert model you can also vent it straight up through an existing chimney as well as stated in the manual. The minimum firplace opening is as follows: Width 40 Height 24 Depth 20

There is not a remote thermostat. You can hook a low milivolt thermostat to this unit though. It does have an igniter.

In all of your documentation, I cannot find the dimensions for the fireplace opening (height, width, and depth). Also there is nothing on the necessary clearance height for the mantle.

Asked by: TomCunningham
The minimum fireplace opening needs to be 24" H X 40" W X20" D. The mantle must be 53" from the floor. These clearances can be found in our owner's manual listed under more info on Pg.9.
