US Stove Grate for Barrel Kit

Delivered a day earlier then stated !! Just as discribed

I made two separate orders for an install of a wood stove. Some stuff at the store, some stuff shipping to the store, some stuff shipping to my house and one item for reasons unbeknownst to me shipped to a Morgan Utah Store. The thing is: None of it is useful without all of it. I learned stuff cancels automatically if you don't pick it up in 48 hours. Their response: We only authorize at purchase and don't charge until it's picked up. My response: That's just stupid. I bought the stuff, go ahead and charge it. Don't jst cancel half my order because "it's company policy". Your customers don't want to hear that, they just want their stuff!

Worked well in my 55 gallon drum leaving room for fire bricks to tuck in around the sides

I've been using my barrel stove every winter for about 15 years now. The barrels and the stove kit all work well, and this stove puts out a very large amount of heat. The gratings work well. They keep my wood off of the bottom and allow me to shovel out ashes from underneath. I'm on my 3rd grating. They seem to last about 7 years or so and then break into pieces. Perhaps constant heat and fire causes corrosion of the iron. I'm not sure. It's not a big expense to replace it every 5 to 10 years. The good thing is that US Stove co. has replacements available.
