- A: The Gripple Wire Joiner 288545 will work on our Gaucho 15.5 gauge barbed wire as well as 13.5g-10g plain wire, trellis wire, field fence, or electric fence. The Gripple Barbed will work on 12.5 ga barbed wire.5 years agoHelpful?
