Q: Can this tool be used when installing Bekaert high tensile wire fencing? i.e. not a single wire.

Can you ask the customer to please email parts@ytlinternational.com, or call (888)723-6534. We will check the purchase date and issue to see if this is a warrantable issue, or advise them they will need to purchase a new unit."3 years agoHelpful?
Q: The photo of this product shows that it is "left handed". In other words, the lever is pushed by the left hand/arm. Is this correct, or is the photo reversed/mirrored? My right broken clavicle prevents me from using the normal "right hand" stretchers.

Q: I have to run a single strand of unbarbed wire fence run which would be 1000 ft. Can I run the whole 1000 ft of wire all the way around from one end to the other and then use the wire stretcher.

I used this to tighten both the heavier top wire and the smaller mesh wire of some sheep fencing. This stretcher did a good job of gripping both wires. I did have a second similar wire stretcher that I had borrowed and thought this one was the better quality of the two. In the end I was glad I ignored some of the negative reviews and purchased this one.

By far the biggest waste of money on the farm. You're far better off to just tie if off and twist a stick in the wire. Doesn't matter what gauge wire you use it wont hold. Im familiar with cam locks working on cranes and such. These just are not worth the paint thats sprayed on them. I went back to the come along and wedge type fence pullers.

It's a tried a true simple stretching tool. I purchased this for a small 2 day job to add about 600 linear feet of wire fencing over the top of existing barbed wire. My sneaky Lab kept disappearing and we figured out he was crawling under the barbed wire when we found tint cuts and scans on his back. Now we have great looking wire mesh fencing that is tight and neat.
