I use these pellets for cat litter. Being in cat rescue we try to find products that work well at a reasonable price. It is great for cats because when they urinate, it turns the pellets to sawdust and it is easy to scoop out. No dust like the regular and clumping litter. A lot cleaner to use. Remember, don't mist it like you would for horses, just leave it as is and the cats will do the rest. Great buy for people with multiple cats looking for a cheaper and effective alternative.

Most of these reviews address a different brand. Not the new Tractor Supply brand. It is a very poor substitute - starts out brownish and is not nearly as absorbent as the ones they use to carry for less cost. I will not buy any more of it.

Old pellets were great, new ones not so much.

They recently changed these pellets, the bags now have a lot of sawdust, they break down much quicker than the previous pellets, and they are much darker which makes it more difficult to see the solid waste, so scooping is more difficult.
