Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps My Horse's Space Dry I have been buying this pelleted stall bedding for a while now and am always pleased. My gelding has a habit of peeing inside his stall and I lay this down underneath his softer shavings to soak up any moist areas. It works great to keep his living space clean, dry, and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cat Litter Ever and Yes, Tried Them All I stopped using clay litter about ten years ago for the health of my companion animals and the good of the environment. Pine litter can be composted and will biodegrade. I bought this in the TS store first due to necessity, but now I buy large quantities online using their new - wonderful - delivery service. The bedding, or in my case, litter, is THE BEST. It absorbs very well, does not track outside the box, and does not clump to the box or the cat, which makes them happy! I scoop out the solids daily, and when the litter stops smelling piney, I change it. For $6 a 40 lb. bag, it is cheap, effective and easy. Thank you for taking the time to read this - I have not been compensated in any way by TS for this review, but I’d like to be...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bedding!! Keeps bugs away, stalls drier substantially longer than with shavings, easier to muck stalls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more Tidy Cat Litter - Only Pine Pellets I'm an animal rescue and we have over 60 cats. Tidy Cat litter was once our major purchase costing more than the cat food. We switched over to the Pine Pellets and it has helped us save over 50% while cutting down the odor.

I use this on my hedgehog, guinea pig and rabbits. But was wondering if this product is flammable? I have a lizard (uromastyx) he needs lights on his tank everyday. i want to use this for his bedding but worried if it will catch fire. Thank you

Would these be good for a trailer, and would they easily come off of a rubber mat?

Asked by: Ava123
They are condensed sawdust in the form of pellets. It should work in a trailer and should easily come off of a rubber mat. When the pellets get wet or soiled it turns back into sawdust.

What size are these pellets?

Asked by: SuseyQ
The pellets vary in size while solid. The expectation is that you dampen them with water so they expand or "fluff" up.

how many bags will I need

Asked by: horseman don
The coverage area of the bedding product is all dependent on how deep the animals owner likes to have the bedded area. A bag for every 2.0 – 2.5 Square Feet is recommended. This gives the animal a good bedding and footing along with excellent absorbency factors.

Is this an appropriate bedding for a chicken coop?

Asked by: Cassiev
If there is any risk it could be of consumption as the pellet swells. It is always good to test with the particular birds to be sure they are not tempted to consume the pellet.

Does it state anywhere on the package that it is kiln dried? I will use this for cat litter so it must be oil free.

Can the Pine Pellet Stall Bedding be used in my horse trailer to absorb horse urine ? And if so do I need to wet it to keep dust down ?

Asked by: 24Billy
Absolutely! It is highly recommended using pellets in horse trailers. They work much better than shavings or fines that will blow around during transport.
