Pine shaving are being used for our 4 baby chicks . This is great compared to the newspaper we were using. Easy to clean ,their dropping stick right to the shavings. Babies nest in the shaving .

I've been using this product for years, best all around bedding value. I use it in rabbit cages, my brooders for chicks and for my adult show Seramas. It absorbs well. Can't beat the value for the dollar. I use the fine flakes, it's softer and absorbed moisture better. These big compressed bags really go a long way. I recommend and will be continuing to buy.
