Strong mower

Let me tell you this equipment can cut down some tall thick bush. I had almost 4 feet tall brush to cut through and this machine had no problems. I'll admit I had to go slow over some areas because it was very dense but once I went made the first pass the second pass was no problem.

Poor quality!!!

Bought this mower thinking that a Toro would be the best choice as they have been a long standing manufacturer that’s still in the USA. Couldn’t have been more wrong in my life. Brought this mower home, admired it for a couple of days, then decided it was time to get it dirty and mow my lawn for the first time with it. Didn’t even make it around my yard and the right control lever broke loose from the control rods and I couldn’t stop the mower until it got stuck in the ditch along the road. Never expected the first dirt on the mower being from towing it out and back to the garage. After inspection and determining the cause to be poor quality design (weak materials used and flimsy attachment), I was glad that I could return it for a full refund at the Tractor Supply Store where I purchased it from. This was the first and it will be the last Toro I purchase. I am very thankful to the store manager for the way he handled my issue and I am very happy with the replacement mower that the manager suggested (different brand) as well.

Bad quality and no replacement parts

In less than 2 years the right side transmission went out. It's covered under warranty but the toro dealer said the part is on backorder. They have had the lawnmower for over a month and still no parts. I recommend you stay away from toro equipment

Hydrostatic Fade

I love the zero turn but at 67 hours started experiencing hydrostatic Fade on the right side. Now I can only mow for about 15 to 20 minutes before I have to stop and let it cool off. The closest service shop is 50 plus miles away and can't get me in for 3+ weeks and won't tell me how long I will be with out the mower. It has made my yard look awesome though.

I bought the new timecutter max about a month ago and so far it’s been great. If I had any complaints about it I would say that I’m disappointed that it doesn’t come from the factory with an hour meter and a fuel gauge.
The Kawasaki owners manual specification states that the first oil change is the be done at 8 hours, but there is no hour meter on the dash. The fuel tank is see through but you can’t really see the fuel level at all so I have over filled it a few times. Wish there was a fuel meter or even a sight window/tube/ meter
