Please Make Toro Titan Max MyRide With Kohler 26HP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought we had a consummate winner here until I saw the horrible specs. Why take one of America's top residential mowers (and light commercial), and dumb it down by dropping horsepower from a proven 26 to a weak 23.5 hp engine and thus drop the blade tip speed (BTS) from nearly 19,000 to approx.17,506 FPM to accommodate the weaker engine? The drop in BTS was surely due to changing the PTO sprocket to spindle pulley ratio in an attempt to compensate for the weaker engine. When using the power bagger which pulls power from the engine via belt drive for the impeller unit, the mower needs every horsepower it has. Additionally, when cutting at speed, in tall grass or wet grass, the 26 horsepower was ideal. So now I am faced with getting a 2025 Toro Titan Max with the wonderful Kohler 26 HP engine or go with the 2026 Toro Titan Max MyRide version and drop 2.5 HP and nearly 1,100 FPM in blade tip speed to do so? The decision is clear...
