The Nature Power 7.5W Amorphous Solar Battery Trickle Charger for 12V Systems takes the sun's energy and turns it into electric current. This solar panel is a way to keep your vehicles batteries topped up during storage. The renewable energy unit is a great alternative to traditional battery chargers since no AC power is required; you will not need to run extension cords or use up valuable driveway space for stored vehicles. This solar panel can be installed outdoors permanently and is completely weatherproofed. The battery charger has mounting hardware that is included.

Q: I have a deep cell battery and inverter for my night sign and it's led lights what size solar panel would be best it turns on at dusk and off at daylight.
5 years ago- A: This product should work great for your needs.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: I want to use this charger to keep my boat batteries charged when not in use. .It may be setting (connected) for a month without use. I will have a bilge pump running on occasion while the charger is connected to the batteries. Will that cause a problem?
5 years ago- A: It is recommended for vehicles.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Could this product be used to recharge a cell phone by using a 12v car charger
5 years ago- A: This solar panel is a way to keep your vehicles batteries topped up during storage.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: would this allow me to plug in to a water de-icer for my chickens?
5 years ago- A: The charger in intended to maintain a 12-volt battery with no load. If the de-icer is 12 volt and it cuts on and off as needed, I think you would need a 12 volt deep cycle battery between the two. If the de-icer is 110 volt, then you would also need an inverter. I do not know if this panel would generate enough current to operate the de-icer especially if it runs a long length of time.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can i use this charger to keep a deep cycle battery charged on my work bench, and use the battery to charge my drill battery with my dc power tool charger.
5 years ago- A: Yes it should work for your needs.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: So what is the point of the, "A built-in blocking diode protects your batteries draining due to reverse current" then if you can't keep it plugged in even when not using? What product should you use then to trickle charge a battery when not in use?
6 years ago- A: This panel can stay plugged in during the night to prevent the reverse charge from the battery, However. if you have another source charging the battery with high amperage or voltage then , it is better to disconnect, as the back current might be more than what the LED diode can handle. if you don't have any other source chargeing the same battery, you can keep it plugged in even when not using. Please call Nature power at 1800-588-0590 for any more questions.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: I purched your solar panel and want to know If I can keep the charger connected to my battery all the time while not in use, in doing so my battery died.
8 years ago- A: We do not recommend leaving the charger connected to a battery at all times, even when not in use.8 years agoHelpful?
