I’m pleased with the quality of this gate. It’s not heavy duty but the construction and welds are top notch. I bought these to use for my front gates so lambs and chickens couldn’t slip though and run into the road. The black color was essential for me because my fence is black. I was surprised this was a special order since black is such a universal color. That being said, I’m glad I ordered these because any other color would have looked odd for my application. Bear in mind, if You need to move the tube mounted hinges there is no paint underneath. Therefore, I’d recommend buying a can of Gloss spray paint to coat and prevent rust. Honestly, that part is a bit irksome because you’d think the gate would be properly painted *before* hardware is attached. Either way, getting black gates was more of a hassle than I anticipated so I don’t have much room to complain about what I perceive to be a minor issue.

The gates have no powder coat under the areas where the hinge brackets are located when delivered. When you move the bracket to attach to wood post pins an are is left with bare rusty metal.
