Q: I like to use bird seed with fruit and nuts. Will the fruit pieces, and nut pieces ger stuck? Or will the food flow out to the bottom? Also, does the metal get too cold for the birds to perch on in the winter? Is there enough space for them to perch?

Base too small

The base isn’t big enough for birds to comfortably land in. I had to add metal stakes for them to stand on while eating. Not really cool for the big price it comes with.

so far so good, it will be put to the real test this spring. Squirrel proof, it is not...but they do have to work very hard to get at seeds or suet.
