The Sta-Bil Pressure Washer Pump Protector is for use in pressure washers before storage to keep internal components protected and lubricated, ensuring easy start ups when taking out of storage. The pressure washer pump protector protects pistons and seals from damage during storage and helps to prevent harmful buildups of hard mineral deposits. This pump protector is a next generation anti-freeze and lubricant formula.

Q: Can this be used as a flush for a Yamaha 115 outboard engine to treat the water pump and seals for storage? I Reached out to the product support at eagle group a week ago and still have not gotten a response BTW, works great in my pressure washer

- A: It doesn't give an exact temperature but I think it would protect against almost anything. It is a lubricant and seems to be oil based so it should work in pretty much any condition5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can Sta-Bil be used for other pumps - like pool pumps? I normally use NuCalgon Pool Pump Protector and I ran across Sta-Bil in my search.

Wish I had known about this product years ago!

If I had known how effective this product is at prolonging the hide of my pressure washers it would have saved lots of $$$$ in repair damage caused by water freezing in the lines over the winter. Great stuff!
