The EP Minerals Minerals Safety Absorbent is a premium calcined granular clay absorbent that contains highly absorbent granules made of non-flammable minerals. This granular clay absorbent absorbs liquids including most types of oils, mixtures of soluble oils, acids, paints, inks and water. The EP Minerals Safety Absorbent can also reduce hazards and slipping accidents, prevent flash oil fires and keep floors clean and dry.

The Safety data Sheet notes that prolonged exposure to this product can cause dryness in the nasal passage and lungs, congestion in the lungs, and other respiratory issues.
