The Preserve SA5520PX 18-Gun Fireproof and Waterproof Safe provides all the essentials for security, giving you total peace of mind. Our proprietary Triple Seal technology creates a seal against smoke and fire damage for 45 minutes in temperatures up to 1400°F and water protection for up to 7-days in 2 ft. of standing water. This long gun safe is constructed out of industrial grade steel with a fortified Uni-Weld body and six 1.5 in. steel locking bolts. It features a fully programmable electronic lock, Anti-Theft Alarm, and comes with two Fail Safe override keys. The interior is fully carpeted with a height-adjustable barrel rack with eighteen gun positions, a deluxe door organizer with four handgun holsters, and a UL Rated single power outlet. The safe has worked well in the first few days of ownership. It was slightly damaged in transit. The corner was dented in. I don’t think the damage will affect the function of the safe but it’s very disappointing to have that happen. The shelving options are limited as there are only 2 shelves. The compartments on the door are ok. The rubber seal on the inside of the safe rubs on the corner of the door when I close it and it also already damaged the rubber seal. Hopefully this does not affect its waterproof seal.

Nice Safe

Nice safe although 18 long guns is a stretch, overall a very good product. The only thing I would change is to give me the ability to turn off the alarm feature, its very annoying and it is a feature I don't need. Like the pockets in the door too.

Perfect for our needs

Based on reviews from several sites, AND word of mouth from others, we bought this small SA gun safe online. TSC notified us that it arrived more than a week earlier than projected, and easily loaded it into our truck for us. It was well-packaged and damage free. It’s is a perfect size for our needs, well-made and HEAVY, but relatively easy to get into place. 4 stars ONLY because we hope never to have to find out its guarantee of being fireproof and waterproof!
