This precision-built SB1099 3 HP Cycl1 Dust Collector from South Bend will give you professional-level dust collection with industry-leading features you won't find elsewhere. It is equipped with automatic motorized filter brushes that clean the internal dust from the canister filter pleats at regular intervals, a vacuum gauge that tells you when it is time to replace the filter and a remote-controlled magnetic switch with timer settings. With a 52 Gal. collection capacity and an included 3-inlet adapter, you will be able to connect to up to 3 machines running simultaneously. Machines manufactured after 2021 feature a heavy-gauge clear plastic adapter that allows 3 4 in. lines to be connected simultaneously. This allows for easy visibility and will help track down potential clogs. This unit works equally well either as a stationary machine or as a mobile point-of-use dust collector. As a 2-stage cycl1 dust collector, the impeller first funnels chips and large particles into a 52 Gal. collection drum. The fine particles are caught by the 1 mic filter and deposited into a separate mini collection drum-a great improvement over plastic bags, which are typically used.

This machine sucks (in a good way)!

I bought this about a year ago, we have been using in the high school shop to allow time for our big DC system to be installed. Overall great machine. Love the auto filter cleaner. Only reason for not 5 stars is that the dust port comes out the same side as the collection barrel, little bit of an inconvenience if you are taller to duck under piping. Great portable shop powerful dust collector. I did an installation review just a day or so after installing. No issues even months later. https://youtu.be/-bz46ecaycg

    Problematic!

I bought this just under two years ago and it has been one problem after another since they got my money. The latest is the timer that runs the paddles inside the filter cartridge quit working and now that motor runs anytime the machine is plugged in. Of course the part is on back order and I have been told late January. Save yourself some hassle and buy from a different manufacturer!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Effective, but WAY too expensive.

I have this machine and never would have purchased it, had I known that the filters lose efficiency so quickly with fine dust from sanding. Replacement filters are 20% of the cost of a new machine. The is simply untenable and at least doubles the operating cost over a five year period.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good power, suction and filtration. Somewhat complicated to assemble as some of the fasteners provided did not match the pictures and description in the assembly manual.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
