We're sorry to hear you're not thrilled with Scotts® Premium Topsoil, and we appreciate you letting us know.

While small pieces of bark and twigs are intentional components of our growing media including potting soil, garden soil, lawn soil, top soil, etc., you should not find large pieces of wood or bark. For best results, mix 1 inch of Scotts® Premium Topsoil into the top inch of the existing soil. Mix thoroughly to avoid creating a distinct barrier layer between Scotts® Premium Topsoil and the native soil. This will allow grassroots to expand easily for more vigorous growth.

We want you to feel good about using our products. That's why we offer a product guarantee. If, for any reason, you're not happy with the results after using this product, you're entitled to get your money back. Limitations apply. If you need anything else, please give us a shout at 888-270-3714. Scotts
