Rugged, but stamped CHINA, so not made in USA!

Works as advertised. Rugged. Would have given 5 stars, but listing states it is made in USA, but forged tines/head is stamped 'CHINA'. I prefer to buy American made, so this was a big disappointment. Listing should be clear/honest. Maybe it is 'assembled in the USA? Clearly not 'made' here.

Looks good, but looks can be deceiving

I had high hopes for this when I took it out of the box. It looks very heavy duty and solid. But, within five minutes of starting to dig two of the tines were bent, one a lot. I was able to bend them back, but now they bend some every time I use it and I can not even try to use it for what I intended, which was breaking up untilled ground. I think this must be intended to only be used in gardens that have already been tilled in the past and digging up root crops to harvest. I intend to return it if I can.

Very weak steel, maybe a one-off

I asked TSC for the toughest garden fork they had and they suggested this one. Looks and feels solid, but fell apart immediately. One tine snapped and one tine bent in medium clay soil with less than ten minutes of use. The steel quality seems poor. I'm going to return it and try for another, hopefully this was a one-off.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I am giving it as a Christmas gift. It looks and feels like a good well made tool that will last a long time.

Handle snapped

Handle broke the first day I used it under moderate work load. Snapped at the base. I was dislodging a three foot tall rhododendron and was not fighting a large root or rock. Might have just been a bad handle. Hoping to return it. We will see.
