Safer Brand 16 oz. Caterpillar Killer II Concentrate kills worms and caterpillar stage insects but has no effect on birds, earthworms, or beneficial insects when used as directed. The caterpillars and worms that are damaging your plants will stop feeding immediately after ingesting the bacterium, which is known scientifically as Bacillus Thuringiensis var. Kurstaki (B.t. for short).Use in late afternoon or on cloudy days since the BT breaks down in sunlight. Controls tent caterpillars, gypsy moths, cabbage loopers, tomato horn worms and more. Safer Brand Caterpillar Killer is OMRI Listed and can be used up until the day of harvest.

Vine borers were destroying so much of my squash plants. I heard about using BT to kill them. So I went to Tractor Supply, they looked it up for me and it was the Safer Brand Caterpillar Killer. They ordered it for me. When I received it, I mixed it up according to directions, used the syringe I had also bought at Tractor Supply to inject it into my squash stems!! It took care of the vine borers right away. I will continue to use this product every year!! Wish I had known about it sooner.Thank you Tractor Supply for carrying this great product!!!

Easy to mix and has many uses than just what the bottle says. I used it to inject my ravaged pumpkin stems and now they are borer free! Praying for those pumpkins to start popping out!
