Item Information

Black Flag Fogging Insecticide is for use in propane or electric foggers to kill mosquitoes and biting flies. Works in and around your garden, lawn, deck, patio or swimming pool. Odor free fog penetrates dense foliage to kill listed insects where they live and hide. Fog in late afternoon or early dusk, when wind is calm and insect activity is increasing. Insecticide is poured directly into the fogger's insecticide basin with no mixing necessary. It is thermally heated to turn into a fog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goes a Long Way... Works! I’ve use a lot of these in my fogger, but this is the best. We have an acre of grass. Three fogging per year keeps mosquitoes almost undetectable. Uses about 3-3.25 one liter bottles in my cutter fogger. Horses and people can enjoy the outdoors now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and works I use this at a boyscout camp for campsites, program areas and much more. There's nothing I can say besides this thing really gets the job done. No bad smell or odor of any sort. The only bad is the Fogger itself is difficult to start

is this safe to use inside a stable, with the horses outside at the time?

Asked by: DEYoung
Hello DEYoung. It is definitely NOT recommended to use this product and fogger in a stable or any enclosed area. The fogger uses an open flame, and operating the fogger in an enclosed area, where fog can become heavily concentrated, may cause fire or explosion.

What is the chemical(s) in this product? Is it harmful to wildlife, birds, and bees?

Asked by: JJNorCal
Per the Vendor: "The active chemical in this insecticide is sumithrin. This insecticide is harmful to bees. It is also important not to fog near water (ponds, creeks, etc.) as the chemical can be dangerous to fish. The chemical should not pose a threat to birds as they would typically fly away if they find the fog to be unpleasant. That being said, inhaling any vaporized oil could potentially be harmful to any animal."

The insecticide is safe to humans and animals after the fog disappears (typically less than 5 minutes); HOWEVER, we do NOT recommend using the fogger in enclosed areas.
