Q: Can this be used without the nesting box dividers to make one big space inside? I would like to use this for a bachelor flock, so nesting boxes are not needed.

- A: Yes you can just need to leave out the dividers. If you dont want the dividers you may opt to get our dog house which is cheaper since it doesn't have the dividers.7 years agoHelpful?

- A: It's all going to depend on what you're comfortable with but yes you can keep 10 chickens in the welded wire pen. You'll need a hutch or chicken coop to go along with the pen. Depending on what part of the country you live in, during the winter months you'll need additional space to keep the chickens warm at night.7 years agoHelpful?

Great Hutch - works great with my coop

My eleven ladies sleep cozily in the hutch at night and run the coop during the day. Easy access to eggs, easy to clean. Have been using it for over a year. My ladies seem to like it.

I have a coop I purchased from TS. Dimensions are 42x28x39. It houses 5 chickens and a little tight; not much space for them to move around, especially with the low roosting bar. I was considering purchasing this one, but based on the dimensions, there is no way it will house 12 chickens. 2-4 max. Just an FYI...

It's not as great as portrayed. The instructions are very vague with blurry images. The "wood" was split in multiple places that I used wood glue to fix it. The entire coop is sticky for some reason. It's not real cear if you're thinking it is. It's just dyed the color of cedar. The hinges had to the taken off the nest box and be bent correctly to fit so you could latch and unlatch it. The packaging looked like it got mauled by a bear in transit. I had to ask If all the parts were there because of how much the box was damaged. We made it work though and the chickens love it.

Horrible. Pieces are flimsy. Many of them came broken. Smaller than expected. This will NOT hold 8 chickens, unless they are dead or you soon want them to be.
Everything I have ever purchased from Tractor Co before this has been great. This item does not, or should not, meet my perception of their standards.
No, I do not recommend this product.
