This is expensive but the best value I can find for large package of sunflower seeds.

I like using sunflower seed hearts rather than seed in the shell because it makes much less of a mess in the yard. It costs more, but you are not paying for the shell. Tractor Supply is the only place I have found large bags.

Since using royal wing sunflower hearts and no wast sweet food of same brand, I believe it has attracted a more varied variety of birds…Im most proud of the indigo buntings and they are back this year for the second year in a row

The seed bag is full of powder the birds do eat them but they clog the feeder there is so much powder in them. We’ve tried using a screen to remove the powder but there is so much even on a humid day it turns the seed into a cake like substance that the birds can’t get out of the feeder.

I like the product because the birds love it It doesn't leave all those empty hulls on the ground that is not only messy but can attract rodents. However, its a real strain on the budget.

Royal wing sunflower hearts seeds for birds are the best; shelled (no waste & no mess) and the birds love them! And, stored in a very clean store at Tractor Supply. Never any bugs. Highly recommend

I love this product because so many birds species enjoy it and there is no clean up of the yard when they empty the feeder.

I've been buying this seed for many years, but it wasn't until recently that I discovered that Royal Wing (for some strange reason) packages this seed differently from any other seed/grain/feed that I've purchased from other sources....and I just wanted to share. Every other bag of seed has a stitched / easy open pull strip. However, with this seed bag, that wasn't the case. This winter, I happened to put the bag down upside down. That's when I saw the saw that the instructions for opening the bag are on the BOTTOM, where nobody would likely notice it - at least I didn't, and I've probably bought this seed at least 50 times over the years. WHY would RW / TS make a bag that has to be put upside down in order to see the instructions on how to open it?!?!? The stitched / strip on the top of the bag doesn't work properly to open the bag, but the bottom strip works just like all of the others. VERY STRANGE!! Hey Royal Wing!!!, please invert your packaging so that everyone can open your seed bags the way they were intended!! The seed itself is excellent, but TOO PRICY!!! So even though I still purchase this seed, I now use it more sparingly to stretch it out. I've not had any of the issues that others have experienced whereby other seed is mixed in.....all of my bags of seeds have been 99.99% sunflower hearts with just the occasional black outer seed hull. The Birds love it!! Unfortunately, so do the Wild Turkeys, Ducks, Deer, and Squirrels, but that's okay.

Since I’ve become disabled I can no longer clean up seeds from the ground. This product has no waste at all.

Excellent in the 35-pound size. I switched to Royal Wing sunflower hearts after getting bags from other sources with significantly more broken fragments and chaff (enough chaff to line the insides of my Droll Yankee tube feeders). The Royal Wing has negligible chaff and mostly whole kernels, but only in the 35-pound bag. In the 14 and 5 pound sizes, I found mostly small fragments. I don't know why or how, but I recommend sticking with the big bag.

The bags of sunflower hearts that have been shipped have held very fresh, dust free seeds. The delivery to our front door means not having to carry the bags a distance from my car. Also, I don't miss the drive back and forth out to the store from our home in the city.

The product is great, but the website listed it as shipping for free, but in the cart a shipping charge was added for $20.00.

A huge hit with all kinds of wild birds, and of course, squirrels! the 20 pound bag is easy to carry, but the 35 pound bag is the best value.
