This is a replacement for the original one I got many years ago. It held up to weather, squirrel abuse and everything else thrown at it. Rugged, easy to fill and clean and holds a decent amount of a variety of feed. The tray makes it usable for almost any size bird too. Nothing negative about it as it is worth every penny and more. Price is very reasonable IMO

Poor design and wastes sunflower seeds

Really liked the appearance of this and the good reviews. However the top of the feeder does not extend over the feeding tray. Due to this the feeding tray fills with water and backs up into the interior of the feeder. This lets the sunflower seeds to clot together and the cardinals and other birds are unable to get the seeds. I've thrown out 3 feeders of sunflower seeds.
