Skip this one, terrible design and quality

Squirrels are smart and figure out how to hang from the top and not close the bottom. We have had ours for a year now and it has rusted really bad on the black metal part and the glass is breaking at some of the screw parts. Save your money and skip this one.

I've had this feeder all winter and it was fantastic, the birds loved it. Now the squirrels are back and have figured it out- first they actually raised the roof (like you would to fill it) and jumped right in and had a feast. So I put a bungee cord across the roof and hooked it underneath which was good for a couple days until they figured out they can hang by their toes from the wire, and access the seeds without closing the spring loaded cover. Just like the other reviewers picture! Now they have broken the spring on one side and the cover won't raise for the birds. Too bad. Also rain gets in to the feeding holes and has to be cleaned often to prevent mold

I have yet to see a squirrel be able to get to the food from the feeder. They spend most of the time scrounging the ground underneath
