This fire-retardant material is highly resistant to corrosion, pressure and harsh elements that result in rust or premature wearing. As long as the PVC coating remains in-tact and is not cut, torn or damaged, the cable inside a Retriever brand cable tie out should not rust.2 years agoHelpful?

Gave it a 3 star because the length isn’t as much as I wanted it to be. Product is durable, strong, and a lot safer than using a chain which can get wrapped easily around the neck or other extremities. Overall affordable, recommended to others but will recommend, a longer cable.
