This roof cover protects your pet from rain, snow and sun, keeping them safe and comfortable inside their kennel. The cover is durably made from 600-denier polyester over a powder-coat tubular frame, ensuring it lasts, and it's also easy as can be to assemble. Simply snap the pieces together and strap the cover into place on top of your kennel. Compatible with the Retriever Lodge Expandable Kennel (sold separately).

I purchased three of these in 2023 (they were $149.99 retail at the time), they were great, I made a covered 10x30 run for my silkie chickens. We had a redwood branch fall and I bent the metal and ripped the cover of one of the three.
Purchased a new one now to replace, and it’s now gone up $100 in price, yet the quality of the roof is not nearly as good. It’s far thinner than the other two next to it. The others have lasted 2 1/2 years and are good, no holes or rips yet, but I have a feeling I’ll only get a couple summers out of this one.
I’ll look at different options when I replace it next time. I was just surprised that the price went up 67% and the quality went down so much in less than 3 years. I wouldn’t mind paying $100 more if it was the same quality, but don’t want to pay much more for lesser quality.
If you have the roof in the shade it shouldn’t be an issue for you, but if it’s in the sun all day it likely isn’t going to last all that long. Probably 2 years, the others I got in 2023 are going to get at least 5 years of use. We only get rain here, no snow.

I have 15 of these kennels with the top in the hot Florida sun in Florida. The shade covers are durable. The wiring is fine and the kennels are great. I see other people write reviews with one star because they are in the winter and in the snow. What do you expect with heavy wet snow?
