Broke off while installing!

This stake tie out was bought for our new Great Dane puppy and at first glance it looks to be of quality strength. However, as we were screwing it into the ground, the top of it broke off. It is possible that we were trying to make it go too deep into this hard GA red clay, but still I would have thought it would be strong enough. So if you plan to use this stake, be careful screwing it down too close to the ground!

Simple and it works

Simple and it works. We use this to let our dog out to use the restroom. It is also pretty portable and easy enough to move, like when cut the grass.

Works well, however our 40 lb dog did bend it from running full speed on her tie out and getting jerked to a stop. But it didn’t break. It’s been in the ground for about a month I’d say, and we only repositioned it once due to being pulled out. It is near impossible to get into the ground if you have rocky soil though so, buyer beware. She doesn’t get tangled on it, and we haven’t hit it with the mower.

Easy to use tie out stake

This stake is easy to get into the ground. I only use it when I am getting ready for work in the morning so I don't have to worry about our dog getting into trouble without me supervising. (She chews up bushes and digs in my flower beds) It allows me to do what I need to do while she eats and does her outside business.
