Q: Is this flush to the ground so a lawn mower can go over it?
a year ago1 Answer
- A: A stake tie out should go below the ground; when installing a tie out stake, you need to screw or hammer it into the soil until it is firmly anchored beneath the ground surface, leaving only the attachment ring visible above ground. We do not recommend mowing over the stake tie/ring, this could cause damage to the mower blade.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Does it work on compact clay?

Q: Can this be used to tie out goats

Q: Can 2 dogs be attached to one stake? With 2 cables of course.
4 years ago1 Answer
- A: No, recommendation would be double dog run system, this will keep two dogs from tangling their ties cables.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: How can I remove it from camp ground to carry it with me.
4 years ago1 Answer
- A: While the Retriever brand tie out stakes are typically used for semi-permanent placement in the homeowners property, the fin-style tie out stake does prove easier to move from place to place. However, equal exertion force is required to place and remove the stake from the ground. In other words, it is not easy to do. If it were, your dog could pull it out himself! If you do find it necessary to remove the stake from the ground, make sure to pull it straight up out of the ground. You may find wearing gloves gives you the extra grip strength needed to accomplish this task. Above all, be careful and do not overexert yourself.4 years agoHelpful?

... on one of the stakes I ordered, one of the metal fins came unwelded when I hammered it into the ground.

Great product for any hard to retain pooch

This is the first and only thing I have found that keeps my girl from running. She has pulled a cinder block around the neighborhood. I would recommend this to anyone who has a strong dog. My baby weighs only 75lbs.
