It's a nice length however after using for about 2 months it developed permanent kinks and a coiled mess. If your dog pulls a lot only use on maybe a 40 pounds or less dog. Mine is 50lbs and she snapped it just less then 3 months of use. I forgot that I need an over 100lb dog tieout.

I use this at night when I take my girl out for her last pee break before we go to bed. It's wrapped around the deck post and I hook it to her collar so she can't get out of my sight. It works great and I don't have to worry about her wondering off!
