Be Cautious!

I've used these leads for years and never had much of a problem. They've always done the job. I bought a new one yesterday (July 1st, 2026). Today, my wife was putting the dog out and cut her thumb on the clasp. The slot the spring loaded pin rides in has RAZOR SHARP edges! Both clasps are like that. After filing one clasp for half an hour I feel okay about it. I'm not worried about anyone else getting cut trying to operate it. Trying to file it isn't easy. So as the title reads, be cautious! If you have one already you may want to check those edges.

Femur Fracture Lead

I have no idea why this is still legal to sell. My dog got a femur fracture when she chased after something and the lead wrapped around her leg. The options to fix this is $10,000 in surgery or amputation. I am livid. This should be illegal. I do not reccommend this for any pet owner who cares about their dog.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Best tie out cable

The one thing I like about this particular cable is it doesn’t kink like so many therefore it wears longer and doesn’t present a trip hazard or snag on objects. The red covering makes it easier to see.

Yes, I recommend this product.
