I am beyond disappointed with this entire experience. I purchased the Retriever Dog Kennel (SKU 1125564) and the extra Retriever Door Panel (SKU 1125409) on January 5th. My original order for the kennel was cancelled because the store claimed there were “0 in stock,” despite inventory showing 3 available. I then had to wait for $449 to be returned to my card while being told I could reorder it for delivery to the store. Instead, another store — an hour out of my way — was located with 13 supposedly in stock, so we drove there on January 6th and purchased it. On January 7th the kennel and panel were fully assembled in our garage. Here we are seven days later, and the paint is literally chipping, peeling, and falling off. I spent $633 on this setup, not including the gas money wasted driving all over the place due to inaccurate inventory, only to end up with a product that is already deteriorating. I have emailed customer service twice in the last week and received no response at all. Your own policy states someone will respond within two days. That clearly is not true. Calling customer service is equally useless, as there is no option to actually speak to a real person. This is completely unacceptable. Selling overpriced products to farmers and working people and delivering poor-quality, defective merchandise is disgraceful. I used to shop here for everything pet-related — not anymore. I’m done. I refuse to keep working hard just to pay for junk while companies profit off of it. I believed this was a store that respected farm hands and working-class Americans. This entire transaction proved otherwise. I’m utterly disgusted with how this has been handled and I will make sure to share this experience with everyone I know — dog trainers, farmers, and the many working people who currently shop here. This was a complete failure in both product quality and customer service.
