This heater uses way less electricity than my beautiful electric fireplace. I purchased my electric fireplace furniture on Wayfair.com and it is an energy drainer my light bill doubled this past winter. So, I unplugged it and purchased this heater and my electric bill went down. The good thing about this is it blows heat out down low. So, if you have a cold floorin winter this is the heater for you.
