Best Wire Available

Several years ago I decided to start using the 15 guage wire (we call them all "gaucho wire") and over about the same amount of time I've been regretting my decision. The 12 guage wire with the red barbs is absolutely THE BEST you can buy. You might save a few bucks now, but a year from now you'll regret it!

Poor quality

We have been building fence for 9 months, 5 days a week. We decided to try the Red Brand barbed wire and we were almost immediately disappointed. It has broken numerous times. This is not just one reel. We are on our 4th reel and it’s all been faulty. We are on a small fencing project at the moment and are going to finish it with what we have. If we were doing this job for a customer we would have to replace all we have put up with another brand. We will never purchase Red Brand barbed wire again.

Used 10 rolls of this red brand wire on 3 different stretches of fence had 3 wires break stretching it and 2 wires break on there own 3 days after clipping it all up, all of my rolls came out of machine 26 and 28. This is unacceptable quality.

No, I do not recommend this product.
