- A: 18ga Barbed Wire is produced in limited supply. Unfortunately, at this time the 18ga barbed wire is out of stock. The 15.5ga Gaucho is a much stronger and more readily available product. Both products are High Tensile Barbed wire made by Bekaert Fencing. For a little more money, the Gaucho 15.5ga product is stronger and a much better-quality product. Contact your local store manager to see if 18ga can be ordered should you decide the 18ga barbed wire is your choice.a year agoHelpful?

- A: The Bekaert 18ga is produced on limited runs, a couple of times a year. I am sorry to say that at this time the product is unavailable through TSC. The Bekaert 15.5ga Gaucho will give you the same class 3 coating with much more strength and a better-quality product in the long run. The 15.5ga Bekaert Gaucho barbed wire is readily available at most locations as well as online.2 years agoHelpful?

It’s barbed wire. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t come wrapped around anything. So it’s difficult to unroll

No kind of spool!

The wire itself is good, exactly as expected, but absolutely hated the way it is wrapped. It's great until you over half the roll, then because it doesn't have any kind of spool it completely slinkies off and is the biggest pain to use from then on. You physically have to unroll it little by little by hand and have someone pull ever little bit to keep unrolling. If it was on a spool or something I would have given 5 stars.
