Q: My horse gets diarrhea quite often would this feed be good for her she is 1 1/2 yrs old
7 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. This feed is formulated to support gastric and hindgut health and may help horses with sensitive digestion. However, diarrhea can have many causes, such as parasites, infection, or diet changes. It’s best to consult a veterinarian to rule out other issues before switching feeds. If approved, transition gradually and monitor your horse’s condition closely.7 months agoHelpful?

Q: I have 26yr old gelding who is enjoying retirement and the occasional trail ride! He has been experiencing loose stools. Would this product help with that? Thanks
4 years ago- A: At age 26, the horse may have dental issues, and is quidding hay. He may not be able to chew and digest hay, so the stools don't get the fiber they need to provide a firm stool. In this instance we recommend a complete with forage feed, like Equine Senior. It now contains Outlast, so will benefit with the buffering of stomach acid. It also contains the prebiotic Activage, which helps boost immune function, and helps with inflammation that occurs with aging.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: How much will this 50lb bag last?
4 years ago- A: That information would vary since it depends on the rate and amount you feed your horse.4 years agoHelpful?

Q: Can you feed this to a pony? I have 3 horses and a pony and the pony eats what they eat now, i really wanna try and have them on the same feed and the horses could really benifet from this but wanna make sure the pony could eat this to?
5 years ago- A: Ultium Gastric Care can be fed to a pony, but you must feed at least 0.3 lbs. feed per 100 lbs. body weight, or you will not meet the minimum nutrient requirements. For a 600 lb. pony, that is a minimum 1.8 lbs. of feed per day, . If your horse gains too much weight at that minimum feeding rate, then you should replace Ultium Gastric Care with a lower calorie Purina horse feed option or Purina Enrich Plus Ration Balancing horse feed, and supplement with Purina Outlast Gastric Support Supplement.5 years agoHelpful?
