Q: I was wondering how many cups a day to feed 6 months old mini Nubians and should I feed once a day or twice. When I got them they were on Purina dairy ration but I always used the chow for my goats in the past. I think they weigh about 50 lbs .

  • Purina Product Expert
A: The maintenance feeding recommendation for Goat Chow is 1% of body weight along with free-choice hay and mineral. For young growing kids, feed measured amounts of Purina® Goat Chow® Plus Up up to 1.5% of body weight per day. Feed with good quality roughage to all goats after weaning.
