Chick heater

I mounted the unit inside the enclosed coop area about 6 inches off the ground. I also put a small log in front in case they wanted some height off the ground. It worked great! The chicks were not fully feathered and it kept them warm throughout the night. The only criticism is the placement of the on/off switch. I was not able to access it. I ended up keeping the unit in the on position and turning it off by unplugging the unit from the outside receptacle.
