I like that this stands vertically along a wall, or can be mounted on the wall. I will mount it. This should minimize the mess that might get on it and create a warm air circulation cell. I also plan to use it to brood chicks in the spring.

The heater has only one setting, HOT. It's so hot I can't touch it. If I didn't try it out in my home this heater would have killed my chickens. The brooder is very hot also.
