Best Bedding for Guinea Pigs

Aspen does not contain oils that pine and cedar do ( harmful to guinea pigs). TSC carries large bags of aspen that are priced below pet store chain prices. This bedding is virtually dust free and very absorbent. I highly recommend it.

Aspen shavings

I just bought these shavings 2 days ago. I didn't like the smell of them. I have bought aspen shavings before and there's no odor. But these have an odor! Like pine! So I read the back of the bag and they are aspen AND pine!!!!! No mention of this on the front of the bag!!! I will be returning the bag. Some people and pets can't be near pine bedding.

This product has cedar shavings in it. Cedar shavings are TOXIC to reptiles.
