- A: Regulation requires us to color coordinate containers based on the fuel type. Red containers are intended for gasoline and other highly flammable liquids. Blue containers are used for storing kerosene. Yellow containers are used for diesel fuel. I would consider checking with your local laws.6 years agoHelpful?

Can is good, but spout is terrible.

Whomever decided that the regular spouts are 'dangerous' and changed all of them is an idiot. This is why they sell spout makeover kits. I hate the spout on this, as I'm an old lady and can't squeeze and hold a part while turning over the can.
