I question the design

I am not sure if something is missing on my gas can but gas leaks out around the locking ring when pouring gas. It ran down my pants and soaked my gloves. Yes I had the locking ring tightened down. Seems like a gasket was missing.

Plastic on two jerry cans began deforming after a few years. The threaded spouts became ovals with a point at the seam. Really weird

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It holds the amount of gas it's supposed to. It's sturdy. It's easy to fill. It's easy to store. This is one of those super boring reviews where all I can say is that this can does EXACTLY what it needs to do and does it very well. I emphatically recommend this product.
