Bought this spreader last spring 2025 and it worked fine, washed it thoroughly and dried it then stored it to use for fall planting. The motor was froze up and now useless. I don’t see anything about a warranty so I don’t recommend it. And btw they don’t carry a replacement motor either.

Good product spread 400 lbs of lime and worked good , I wished the wiring harness terminal was setup for a accessory plug in instead of clamps for battery post as my battery is hard to access on my side by side

Atv Spreader - Manual Feed Gate

Took a bit of time to assemble, the last Moultrie spreader purchased was bolts on and go. The seed bin is thin and flimsy. And the lid will not stay on, comes off often.

Moultrie Spreader - Great for small to medium jobs

Spreader worked as advertised for seeding 500 pounds on about 3 acres of food plots. I’ve been planting food plots for 30+ years and have used tractor spreaders, 400 pound pull behinds, 150 pound pull behinds and now the electric ATV mounted spreader. This Moultrie spreader worked great for the smaller plots we have on the property that we now own. Pretty easy to install, although I did have to modify the inside motor support bracket in order to get it to fit properly. I used a hand grinder to narrow it a little.
We have been using the Agrifab 150 pound pull behind for the past 5 years, but the gears eventually gave out. It was a little challenging to use on uneven disc’d soil and had a tendency to want to tip over. The Moiltrie spreader eliminated this problem and allows for spreading in and around tight places without any spillage.
The spreader has a rear shield to help prevent material from slinging behind the spreader which works well. However, I will probably add some aluminum sheeting to enlarge it and to allow us to narrow the spread width. Plans are to use the spreader to occasionally spread corn on some of our less deer traveled roads. Narrowing the spread pattern will help to keep the material from slinging into the woods.
The Moultrie Manual Gate Electric Spreader worked well for the size job we have and met all of my expectations.
