Used this with my oil based paint to paint my old work truck. worked very well. paint was tacky in 30 mins and repainted in 2 hours! after a few days the finish was hard as a rock. I'll use this everytime.

I didn't read the Q&A on this site, just the paint can directions. It said hardener was optional and so was reducer. Since I was in no hurry and brush painting, I allowed 48 hours between coats. It has been 2 weeks and I can still scratch the paint off with my fingernail. I was painting a tractor wheel and after 2 weeks I needed the tractor back, so I had to mount the tire, and the machine gouged the paint good. The Q&A on this site "recommends" 10% reducer and also use if the hardener. There is no way you are going to get this paint to put on 2 brush coats thin enough to dry in 48 hours without reducer and hardener. I have no idea why they don't at least have reducer in the paint because it appears mandatory. And change the instructions on the can!! I will hold off on rating or recommending this product until I drive the 50 mile round trip to get reducer and hardener and paint the other wheel.

This product is awesome! After painting horse trailer turned into a mobile bar and trailer used to haul equipment around would not use anything else. Highly recommend this product.
