Q: Is their a code or something to tell me when it needs to be drained of water

  • A: Hi Michael, we appreciate you reaching out, and we understand why you’d want to know how the LP0721WSR portable air conditioner alerts you when it needs to be drained. Staying ahead of maintenance keeps everything running smoothly. This model uses a Water Full Indicator on the control panel. When the internal tank reaches capacity, the unit will stop cooling and the “FL” (Full) indicator will light up so you know it’s time to drain the water. A quick step you can try anytime is checking the LED panel for that FL symbol if the unit stops cooling unexpectedly. You can review all features and indicators on the official LG page here: https://www.lg.com/us/air-conditioners/lg-lp0721wsr-portable-air-conditioner If you need further assistance, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. -LG Digital Care Team ^Rich

Q: My LG Electronics - LP0721WSR is a great room air conditioner. But it drains off 8 gallons of water in 10 hours. How can I drain it outside. The instructions that came with mine are a little confusing on that part.

  • A: Hi there. You're right—this portable LG A/C can pull serious moisture in humid conditions, and draining it outside is definitely the way to go for convenience. The LP0721WSR has a continuous drain port designed for exactly that: just connect a standard garden hose to the port at the back of the unit when running in Dry mode. Make sure the hose slopes downward and leads to a safe outdoor area where water can flow freely without causing damage. If you're using Heat mode, there's a separate pump drain port that requires the included pump drain hose—so double-check which mode you're in before setting up drainage. Q: My unit is blowing warm air all of a sudden. It's giving me a CLEAN FILTER

Originally posted on lg.com

  • A: Hello. The Air Filter for the LG 7,000 BTU (SACC) / 12,000 BTU (ASHRAE) Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0721WSR, should be cleaned every two weeks. Depending on indoor air quality, more frequent cleaning may be needed. A dirty air filter will decrease airflow and reduce efficiency. You can use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filters. If the filters are heavily soiled, they can be washed in warm water using a mild detergent. Do not use hard cleaners; wash them in very hot water or a dishwasher. The Clean Filter LED lights up to notify you that the filter needs to be cleaned. After cleaning the filter, press and hold the ∨ button on the control panel for 3 seconds to turn off the Clean Filter light. The filter reset must be done using the control panel, not the remote control. This feature is a reminder to clean the air filter for more efficient operation. The LED light turns on after 250 hours of operation...^Ivan.

  • A: Hey there. We can help with your LG portable A/C switching to Dry Mode automatically after running on Cool Mode for a few hours. To troubleshoot this, please try the following steps: 1. Check the Temperature Control: Ensure that the set temperature in the Cool Mode is not too low, which may trigger the unit to switch to Dry Mode. 2. Clean the Filter: A dirty filter can affect the unit's performance. Clean the filter as per the maintenance instructions provided in the user manual. 3. Check for Airflow Restrictions: Ensure no obstructions are blocking the front of the air conditioner, such as curtains or furniture. For more questions, private message us on social media @LGUSSupport.
