SENTINEL SAFE START is a high protein, high fat, pressure cooked feed that offers a safe and natural way to provide essential nutrition to lactating mares and young growing foals. SENTINEL SAFE START can also be fed to show horses on low protein hay or when extra shine and condition is desired. DAILY GUIDE: Approximate feed weight to volume: 0.85 lb = 1 quart. It is necessary to adjust the feeding of SENTINEL SAFE START to the condition of the horse. Provide good-quality hay or pasture, free-choice salt and plenty of fresh water.

We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a KENT product or even between KENT products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new KENT product in with your current feed and then gradually increasing over the course of one week to 100% of the new KENT product.
