Hot Shot's Secret Everyday Diesel Treatment (EDT) is the ultimate all-in-one diesel fuel treatment and fuel stabilizer, with added LX4 lubricity booster. Our powerful formula maintains a healthy fuel system, adds lubrication, neutralizes acids, keeps rust and corrosion at bay, boosts cetane, and more. All of this adds up to an engine that performs better, uses less fuel and lasts longer. Every diesel engine can benefit from EDT, as both a diesel fuel stabilizer and diesel injector cleaner. The cetane booster in EDT consists of special nitrates which are pro-oxidants and which speed up the oxidative process of fuels during combustion, giving more power and improved mileage. In addition, EDT prevents gum and sludge formation. It prevents corrosion through an inhibitor that produces a protective non-deposit-forming film on metal surfaces in the fuel system which neutralizes corrosive acids formed during combustion. An important component of EDT is a special demulsifier that disperses condensed moisture. Condensed water in fuels is a major cause of rust and icing in cold weather and the growth of microorganisms in warm weather, which harm the fuel system and can clog the fuel filter. The operation of diesel engines is noticeably improved when corrosion and growth of bacteria are prevented. EDT contains an exclusive polar lubricity additive to prevent wear without altering fuel viscosity. Our LX4 Lubricity Extreme solution helps increase your fuel economy and allows your vehicle to reach its peak performance by enhancing lubricity up to 26% and preventing scoring. EDT is a completely ashless formula, creating no adverse effects on the engine and complying with federal requirements for low sulfur content. Must be stored above 32 degrees. Use at each fill-up to turn pump diesel into "premium" fuel. Use performance dose for maximum cetane and lubricity boost. Use EDT+ Winter Defense when temperatures are below 32 degrees. Premium dose is 1 oz per 25 gallons. Performnace dose is 2 oz per 25 gallons.
